In the presence of his wife and older child, a Dutch man (36) ran over his one-year-old son on Saturday. The father had parked his car in an Aldi parking lot in Unterhaching (Bavaria) and the wife and children got out. As the Munich portal tz.de reports, among others, the accident happened around 8:10 am.
The father wanted to drive his VW to an electric charger to charge the car. He then drove forward out of the parking lot, at the same time the toddler ran in front of the car from the passenger side, according to the responsible police spokesperson. According to “Bild”, the boy suffered a skull fracture.
The child was still taken care of in the supermarket. Employees immediately called the emergency doctor. The boy was then taken to hospital for further care.
Fortunately, the boy’s life is no longer in danger. According to the newspaper, the family was passing through. (An)
