A powerful explosion occurred in downtown For Worth, Texas on Monday afternoon.
“There was an explosion in the city center” and “there was a cloud of smoke that could be seen higher than the high-rise buildings,” CNN quoted the city government as saying. The rubble was spread over a large area near the city hall.
“We are currently working on a major incident,” said Reyne Telles, media relations officer for Fort Worth.
“Please avoid the city center,” the police reported on X. Emergency services were on site. “We will provide further details as soon as we can confirm further information.” (kes)
