Suspected poisoning: Putin propagandist found dead with her ex-husband Major train drivers’ strike in Germany: Railways announce emergency timetable

Not only dissidents are currently living dangerously in Russia, but also Putin’s propagandists. Zoya Konowalova was found dead on January 5, it was announced today, Monday. The 48-year-old was editor-in-chief of the state television and radio company Kuban. Kuban belongs to the WGTRK group, which in turn owns 89 regional television and radio stations. They were found in their home next to the body of their ex-husband (52).

No visible injuries were found on the bodies of Konovalova and her ex-husband, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reported. “The cause of death is believed to be poisoning by an unknown substance,” the news agency added.

Konovalova’s death is the latest in a series of mysterious deaths of Russian media figures. Only on Sunday did it become known that Russian journalist Alexander Rybin had been found dead at the border with Ukraine. Last month, Anna Zareva, the deputy editor of Komsomolskaya Pravda, was found dead in her Moscow apartment.
