Hamza al Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya were killed when the car they were traveling in was attacked during a news broadcast in Rafah, in the southern Palestinian enclave, the Gaza government confirmed.

“We ask journalist and media unions, legal and human rights bodies to condemn this crime and condemn its repetition due to the (Israeli) occupation,” he said in a statement.
According to the Gaza authorities, their deaths bring the number of journalists killed in Gaza during the war to 109, which includes influencers and intellectuals.
