It was a wet night on the cruise ship ‘Margaritaville at Sea’, which was en route to the Bahamas last May. Bartender Hoobesh D.* serves two women and repeatedly serves them alcoholic drinks.
At least one of them is so drunk that she leaves the key to her cabin at the bar – and Hoobesh D. knows where the two women sleep. As the women crawl into bed, the bartender enters the room in the middle of the night.
What is certain: Hoobesh lies down next to one of the passengers, who is naked on her bed, and takes a photo of herself and the sleeping person. Around 3 a.m., her roommate wakes up and catches the bartender abusing her co-worker. This case has already been heard in court, where the bartender pleaded guilty.
But now the witness to the sexual assault has also filed a lawsuit claiming that she was raped by Hoobesh. She woke up because he was touching her face and abusing her.
After her alleged rape, she became pregnant and had to have an abortion, according to the lawsuit, which was reported in American media. The child could not have been her husband’s because she was not sexually active with him before or after the alleged rape.
Hoobesh D. faces a prison sentence of two years and a $250,000 fine for the assault. (neo)
