As the BBC reported on Wednesday, the Brit had been offered a temporary driver’s license, but that had expired decades ago. In Great Britain, learner drivers are allowed to drive for a limited time accompanied by a qualified passenger and with a learner badge on their car.
According to the report, the incident occurred on Tuesday on a motorway near the northern English city of Preston.
The traffic violator was caught violating traffic rules. The car was seized. (SDA/a)
