On Sunday morning, a woman (28) met a man (31) in a bar in Bregenz (A). Since they got along well, they decided to go to a hotel together. While the woman went to the toilet, her companion stole 1,000 francs from her wallet. She only noticed this theft when she wanted to buy cigarettes at the train station.

When she returned and asked the man about the missing money, he denied taking it. An argument ensued during which the man hit the woman several times. The injured woman then called the police and the man fled towards the train station.

According to Vorarlberg police, the wanted man is a Kosovar national living in Konstanz (D). He will be reported to the public prosecutor. (jwg)
