Incident involving US President Joe Biden’s motorcade: According to media reports, a vehicle – unintentionally – rammed an SUV from the president’s motorcade in Wilmington, Delaware, on Sunday. Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were unharmed. Both vehicles were damaged. According to US intelligence, the collision was not intentional, CNN reported. It rained heavily.
The president and first lady were leaving their campaign headquarters in Wilmington after a meal with staff when the car struck the SUV, they said. The SUV shielded the motorcade at the intersection. There was a loud bang. Biden, who had just spoken to reporters, stood in front of the vehicle with a surprised expression on his face before officers led him to his vehicle, in which Jill Biden was already seated.
