Being the father-in-law of the ‘Kurdish fox’ Rawa Maijd (37), who is considered the main leader of the Swedish criminal gang Foxtrot, an Uppsala man has installed a surveillance camera in front of his house.
The man whose son-in-law is held responsible for countless shootings and bombings probably wanted to protect himself and his family. Rightly so, as a report by ‘Bild’ now shows.
Accordingly, on the night of September 13, shortly before 4 a.m., a man equipped with a balaclava and a pistol rang the doorbell. This is evident from surveillance camera images that have now been published by the police.
In addition to the father-in-law, his wife and adult daughter were in the house. The latter was on the first floor at the time of the near attack and saw the killer on the surveillance camera.
“Don’t open the door!” she warned her parents in a panicked text message. Moments later, the daughter alerted the police. According to the report, the family tried to remain as quiet as possible so as not to draw the killer’s attention to them.
On the other hand, he became increasingly restless. Ultimately, he allegedly received instructions from his accomplices via smartphone. He should throw stones at the door and through the window. The alleged killer complied with the order.
But the killer doesn’t have time for multiple throws. Shortly afterwards the police showed up and arrested him. Unbelievable: the man was only 17 years old. The police also found the accomplice who gave the teenager instructions via his smartphone. It concerns a 19-year-old who observed the situation from a car nearby.
Sweden has had a huge problem with gang violence for years. In no other European country is the murder rate as high as here. Gangs and Islamists are causing fear and terror, especially in the suburbs of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
Since September this year, the gang war has escalated again. The reason: Majid fled to Turkey – since then other criminals have been fighting for his successor.
As a result of the action, the 17-year-old is now suspected of murder and had to appear in court. ‘I would never have shot. “I just wanted to scare them,” he allegedly told the jury.
The father-in-law also speaks in court. He reports on the ongoing threat and how much his family is suffering as a result. He is also a bit ashamed: “I was so afraid of being labeled a bad person because my daughter was with Rawa Majid.”
The verdict is expected on December 20. (dzc)
