Man with connections to Brussels attacker caught in Spain The end of great restraint: EU warns Israel

Spanish police have arrested a man suspected of having links to the person responsible for the terrorist attack in Brussels mid-month. The man was arrested in Benahavís in the province of Málaga in the south of the country, the Spanish National Police said on Friday. “An international arrest warrant had been issued for him by Belgian authorities and he was carrying forged documents at the time of his arrest,” the statement said.

A 45-year-old rejected asylum seeker from Tunisia killed two Swedish fans on the evening of October 16 before the international football match between Belgium and Sweden in Brussels. The alleged perpetrator was shot dead by police a few hours later, in the early morning of October 17. The Islamist terrorist militia Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the crime. This year, activists in Sweden and Denmark burned copies of the Quran several times, sparking anger among Muslims.
