During a holiday in Mallorca, Eileen M. suddenly suffered a number of strokes.

Eileen M.* actually wanted to spend a few nice days in Mallorca with her family. But then everything turns out differently. Out of nowhere, the German becomes ill and collapses.

Within minutes she had to be taken to hospital due to suspected multi-organ failure. It turns out: Eileen M. has had several strokes and is in acute danger of life. The doctors didn’t hesitate for a second and immediately put her into a coma.

In an interview with RTL, the mother of a two-year-old boy still remembers the incident in May as if it were yesterday. A short time later they were flown to Berlin by special transport. “Since then I have been in hospitals and rehabilitation clinics,” Deutsche said.

Despite everything, the single mother wants to fight her way back to life at all costs. Her greatest wish: to be mobile again so that she can be fully there for her son. “I will leave no stone unturned to fight my way back to my old life.”

Regain your independence with 15,000 euros

For Eileen, this is directly related to regaining the mobility she lost due to the strokes. The young mother wants nothing more than a car that has been specially converted for her. Costs: 15,000 euros. With an appeal on the crowdfunding platform Gofundme, the young woman is now collecting donations to finance her dream of car ownership.

“I dream of sitting in the car with my son, looking out the window and laughing as we experience new adventures together,” Eileen M. writes about her fundraising campaign titled “Back to Life: My Path to Independence.”

For her, however, a car is not just about fun. A vehicle is also essential for them to continue to follow daily therapies and measures.

It remains to be seen when Eileen will have enough money to buy her car. In general, the 28-year-old is optimistic: “I try, especially for the little one, to be strong and not to give up. There are always small low points, but the hope for a happy future gives me strength.” (dzc)
