European road collapsed after landslide in Sweden Headquarters hit: Putin’s Black Sea Fleet takes the next major blow

After a landslide, parts of a highway near a small town in western Sweden collapsed. Several cars are said to have fallen over the edge of the destroyed European road E6 near Stenungsund near Gothenburg. According to the police, three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries on Saturday. Images showed a long crack through the area near a gas station. Parts of the roof of a fast food restaurant collapsed. There is still no clear picture of what happened and how it could have happened, police said.

According to the Stenungsund municipality, the landslide occurred around 1:20 am on Saturday night. According to Swedish media, special forces and sniffer dogs searched the affected area to ensure there were no people in the mass of earth. The police have started an investigation into work at a construction site in the area. Explosions took place there. It is still unclear whether there is a connection with the landslide.

Previous landslides in Sweden were often related to heavy rainfall and also the nature of the soil there.

The E6 was closed in both directions. In Scandinavia, the route runs over thousands of kilometers from the far north through large parts of Norway to the southern Swedish port city of Trelleborg, from where ferries from the Baltic Sea also cross to Rostock and Travemünde. Stenungsund is located almost 40 kilometers north of Gothenburg.
