“It is with great pride that we officially announce that the Coca-Cola Latin America and CAF teams are joining Latin Americans and Caribbeans to improve their quality of life. For this reason, in Coca-Cola Latin America we have created alliances with associations, organizations, programs and communities, linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” he said. For his part, the executive president of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia, Sergio Diaz-Granadosassured that this alliance will help them eradicate poverty and inequality, protect the planet, comprehensively develop opportunities for women, among others.
Cooperation agreement between CAF and Coca-Cola sets three main goals: the development of joint actions on water and water security, prioritizing basin restoration, reforestation, water efficiency and regenerative agriculture, economic empowerment, targeting the population in vulnerable situations, activities on education and financial inclusion, and better training and business development, with a gender focus and a circular economy, focused on proper solid waste management and recycling.
With this agreement, CAF affirms its commitment to become a green bank and sustainable and inclusive growth Latin America and the Caribbeanwhile Coca-Cola is making progress in achieving its goals and global strategy of environmental, social and management criteria, entitled “World without waste”.
