Shocking moment in a Spanish cemetery: ‘Dead woman’ was still breathing

class=”sc-29f61514-0 icZBHN”>

A woman was declared dead in Spain. However, at the cemetery they discover that she is still alive.

A 90-year-old woman has been wrongly declared dead by doctors in Spain. It was only shortly before the funeral that a funeral home worker at the cemetery in Zaragoza noticed that the alleged corpse was still breathing. She also had a weak pulse, regional newspapers “El Periódico de Aragón” and “Heraldo de Aragón” reported on Friday, citing the region’s authorities.

The incident happened on Monday evening. The woman was immediately taken to hospital, but actually died there a day later.

Family files complaint

The family has now filed a complaint. She suspects the trip to the funeral home and the time the 90-year-old was without medical supervision contributed to her death.

An investigating judge has opened an investigation in Zaragoza to find out whether there was negligence or misconduct on the part of the treating doctors, it was said. The Aragon justice system confirmed this information upon request. (SDA)
