A truly embarrassing situation: A Delta machine is flying from Atlanta to Barcelona on Friday when a passenger develops diarrhea after two hours in the air – and apparently can’t make it to the bathroom in time.

A recording of the radio traffic can be heard on LiveATC.net. “We’re dealing with a biohazard problem here,” the pilot told air traffic control. “We have a passenger who has diarrhea all over the plane, so we need to get back to Atlanta.”

“It Drip Down the Aisle”

A person writes on X that she or his partner was on the plane and tells about the incident. “It was pretty bad. It seeped down the aisle and smelled awful. The sanitizer only made it smell like vanilla afterward.”

Flight DL194 returned to Atlanta, where the aircraft required cleaning. Apparently, the paramedics even came on board to pick up the passenger. The remaining passengers had to transfer, but arrived eight hours later than planned.

Apparently it was possible to get the Airbus A350 completely clean again. According to the “NY Post,” the machine has already been used on another flight. Delta confirmed to the portal that there was a “medical problem” on board.
