Six killed in US kindergarten knife attack: Wagner army still a threat to Putin

Six people were killed and another injured in a knife attack at a kindergarten in southern China. A 25-year-old man has been arrested.

As the state newspaper “China Daily” reported, citing police, a 25-year-old man was arrested as a suspect after Monday’s attack. The attack took place in the city of Lianjiang (Guangzhou province). Further details were initially unknown.

Attacks on preschoolers or students are not uncommon in China. In past crimes, the perpetrators attempted to retaliate in some way against society for perceived injustice, and often chose the weakest members to do so.

That is why strict safety measures have long been in place in schools and kindergartens in China. There are guards at the entrances. Parents, relatives or other persons are generally not allowed on the school or kindergarten grounds. You can only drop off and pick up your children at the entrance. (dpa) (aargauerzeitung.ch)
