A horror act took place in this house in Bottighofen TG in 2020.

Something terrible happened in this house: On October 29, 2020, the cheerful early retirement Marianne G.* († 62) disappeared in Bottighofen TG. Only on December 5, a resident (26) found the head of the Swiss woman in a forest near Egnach TG – with a gunshot wound. There was no trace of the rest of the body.

Shortly after the horror discovery, suspicion fell on the victim’s landlady, Ukrainian Anna F.* (55). Housemates had seen the two argue beforehand. Anna F. also lived in the house on Hauptstrasse in Bottighofen TG. It became known that the 55-year-old shot her tenant Marianne G. and then chopped her body into pieces. F. was sentenced in 2022 to 15 years in prison and 15 years of exile for intentionally killing and disturbing the peace of the dead.

Refugees in three apartments

After that, the horror house in Bottighofen was put up for sale. In the end, the municipality picked up the property because the interest of other buyers was probably quite small, reports the “St. Dagblad Gallen. It must be converted into an asylum shelter.

As the community explains to the newspaper, they want to accommodate asylum seekers in the three apartments. Because according to the cantonal distribution key, 18 refugees should be accommodated. “But we don’t have that in our village at the moment,” said the mayor of the “St. Dagblad Gallen.

1.2 million francs

The history of the house was treated accordingly. However, the municipal council is convinced “that actions of human hands should be viewed separately from the building. Otherwise, such buildings would have to be demolished or they would fall into disrepair».

Currently, Ukrainian refugees are said to be living in the house. The house is therefore “valuable living space, albeit with a bad past”.

The municipality wants to put 1.2 million francs on the table for the multi-family home after the referendum deadline. The sales advertisement previously demanded 1.3 million francs. (zis)
