Life imprisonment for knife attack on schoolgirls in German propagandists: “Prigozhin went crazy”

The suspect has been sentenced to life imprisonment for a fatal knife attack on two schoolgirls in Germany. The court of Ulm (Baden-Württemberg) also determined the special seriousness of the guilt on Tuesday.

As a rule, parole after 15 years is almost impossible. The 27-year-old Eritrean, who came to Germany as an asylum seeker, attacked two girls with a knife on their way to school in Illerkirchberg in December. A 14-year-old did not survive the attack, her 13-year-old friend managed to escape. The verdict was for murder and attempted murder with dangerous bodily harm.

The prosecutor’s office, joint prosecutor and defense had demanded life imprisonment for the man, while the prosecutor and joint prosecutor had also demanded that the guilt be particularly serious.

According to the public prosecutor’s office, on the day of the crime, the man wanted to use a knife to enforce travel documents for a marriage in Ethiopia from the district office of the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the two girls ran past the man’s house just as he came onto the street with the knife. Assuming the students had seen the knife, he spontaneously decided to kill them. He wanted to prevent the girlfriends from calling the police and thwarting his plan.
