Thousands of protesters were expected at a rally outside Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport.

In Haifa, demonstrators blocked the access road to the port. Long traffic jams formed in the area. Something similar is also planned for the airport. The airport authorities and the police wanted to limit the number of participants to 5,000 people. However, the organizers said that anyone who wanted to express their protest would come to the airport.

Some 286,000 people across the country took part in demonstrations against the government’s controversial plans on Saturday, according to organizers. After a pause, the government resumes reforms to weaken the country’s highest court. (SDA)
