Texas airport worker dies after being sucked in by plane engine turbine

The National Transportation Safety Board announced in a statement that it is investigating why the engine was able to absorb a worker, an employee on the ramp, or the person in charge of guiding the pilot to the runway and boarding area. , loading and unloading suitcases or, among other things, driving a luggage trolley.

An anonymous source told the newspaper Guard that the worker “intentionally stood in front of the active engine” of the plane. Airport officials also confirmed the incident and were “deeply saddened” by the death of the worker.
