Eight centimeters of hailstones in Austria Putin’s Satan missiles would soon be ready for battle

During a storm in the Austrian state of Carinthia, hailstones of about eight centimeters fell on Wednesday evening, the police and fire brigade reported. Elsewhere there were mudslides (landslides).

Roads were blocked by mud or stone material, trees were uprooted and houses were covered. There was extensive damage to property, but initial reports say no one was injured.

In Kremsbrücke, a car is almost completely buried under a stream of debris, the police report. At Rennweg, police patrols and residents were temporarily trapped between multiple mudslides. Some uprooted trees blocked the roads. Roads in the storm area were initially closed. The huge hailstones were reported from the municipality of Lurnfeld in the Drautal.

A 31-year-old foil surfer who became distressed during the storm was rescued from Lake Millstätter. In foil surfing, the surfboard practically floats above the water surface thanks to a hydrofoil. (aeg/sda/dpa)
