Everyone wants to go to Italy this summer.

The tourist magnet expects more than 60 million visitors from abroad. At particularly popular locations, they must therefore take into account stricter rules due to the risk of collapse.

Beach visit with registration

In Sardinia, therefore, only 1500 people per day are allowed to go to the beach. Traffic Restriction Amalfi Coast

A particularly large number of tourists are attracted to the picturesque Amalfi Coast. There and in other popular regions, visitors should be aware of traffic restrictions. The license plate determines whether and when you can drive: If you have an even last digit, you are not allowed to drive the restricted route on days with an even number. The same applies to odd last digits on odd days. The route between Vietri sul Mare and Positano is completely closed on all weekends between mid-June and mid-September.

Upper bed limit in South Tyrol

In South Tyrol there is an upper limit for the number of beds in the summer months: if you want to offer a new accommodation, you have to wait until another one closes. And here, too, the traffic is dealt with because you can only reach the Pragser Wildsee and the Alpe di Siusi by public transport.
