The Greens group in the Munich city council wants to ban the so-called “Row Zero” (Row Zero) at the Rammstein concerts in the coming week. The reports of the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” and the “Abendzeitung” agree. This area between the stage and the audience is usually where fans come, chosen by the band and their crew.
Allegations are circulating against Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann. It concerns parties with young women allegedly organized near the concerts, who would have been recruited for this “row zero”. It also involves drugs that may have been mixed into their drinks. At the center of the criticism is singer Till Lindemann. The band has since responded to the allegations.
The Greens now want to prevent the “zero row” at the concerts in the Olympic Stadium on June 7, 8, 10 and 11 – “for safety reasons”. The district administration should also consider whether safe rooms and specially trained teams can be prescribed at the expense of the organizers.
Politicians must create structures that prevent sexual violence and enable those affected to receive help quickly, writes Green Party leader Mona Fuchs. “Just as the presumption of innocence applies to the alleged perpetrator, the allegations of the women involved must also be heard and taken seriously.”
In addition to the Greens, the parliamentary groups of the left and the ÖDP are also said to have already joined the application “Safe concerts for everyone”. One is in talks with the CSU.
