The crazy super-duper moon has already been announced. So we were all excited to see how big and beautiful it would be to look at.
And the moon really shone in all its glory. Naturally, the celestial spectacle was widely shared in the form of mobile phone images on social media, for example on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter.
What happened next was this….

Wasn’t it wonderful, the moon tonight? Unfortunately not that easy to photograph 🤷♀️

I thought it would be light, but it was the moon, when a mosquito woke me up. I don’t know if I caught her, but the night is over now. Make a pot of coffee and write a shopping list. It starts at 8:00 am. Go to the board at 11 a.m. This month will be very important pic.twitter.com/gT9mHEhOPT

We all know the phenomenon: we see a huge moon in the night sky, but when we try to capture the moment with our mobile phone camera, we are disappointed.
So how do you properly take a photo of the moon? Zoom in, expose for a long time – a tripod is recommended if necessary – and hold still. Could already work on mid-range smartphones. If you want to take tortilla-like professional photos of the full moon, you probably can’t avoid professional equipment with a lens.
A few moon photos are still possible. Today that was #Moon 99% full, tomorrow is lunch time #Full moon. #Chrommenstein #Alvier #Gauschla pic.twitter.com/XuQtQLfw0D
