The Brazilian chef marinates steaks with Aromat and serves fondue as a side dish

Gustavo Tosta, called Guga, is a successful YouTube chef and TikToker from Brazil – best known for his steaks. With its two YouTube channels Sous vide everything And Guga food together he has about 6 million followers.

In one of his latest videos, Guga claims the ultimate secret ingredient for a tasty steak to have found:

aromatic.

And: since he now seasons the steaks with the “MSG of Switzerland” (quote Guga), it’s only classy if you «a typical Swiss side dish» served with:

Cheesefondue.

Ah, see for yourself:

Okay, let’s break this down: so he has this (honestly, incredibly fine looking) steaks marinated with Aromat.

Well, opinions may be divided on the resulting taste experience, but in Guga’s defense, it can be argued that many commonly available meat tenderizers and similar spice blends often contain very, very similar ingredients to Aromat.

Probably the most offensive aspect is the fact that with steaks as incredibly fine as he uses, you don’t really need a tenderizer. A little salt and pepper and you would think it would be fine.

But then there’s the fondue.

First of all, Guga serves it as an “incredibly typical Swiss side dish”. Nothing against fondue, but: One of the heaviest dishes known to man, as a side dish? Everyone?

Then he claims you can use “any kind of cheese you like” …as the camera pans over what appears to be cheddar and gouda. Oh, and oh yes: he uses sour cherry schnapps.

“This side dish is fun and absolutely delicious,” is the conclusion… especially when when you dip the steak in the FONDUE.
