Miley Cyrus, a Frenchi or ET – can you hear the difference?

That Miley Cyrus is known for her voice is nothing new. Still, she got an (unintentional) viral hit with it. In an interview in which she talked about her latest album, I especially noticed one segment where her voice sounds much deeper than usual.

The reason for this is the so-called Reinke’s edema, which the singer suffers from. This usually only occurs in old age. Due to the heavy strain on her voice at a young age, Miley was already caught. For the singer, however, the whole is not half so tragic, which is why the Internet also dares to make one or the other comparison. But listen for yourself!
