Unlike the ever compliant ChatGPT AI, DeppGPT is said to be “the first truly human voice AI”. The postillon promises it on its website and advertises it with crabby honesty.

While the Postillon promises authentic entertainment, but not necessarily useful answers, we wanted to try a helpful question first. Just in time for festival summer, it makes sense to have a packing list drawn up.

However, DeppGPT doesn’t seem to want to do that. Instead of a list, the program spews out a grumbling diatribe: “Oh come on, are you kidding me? (…) What kind of unnecessary question is that?”

In the course of its post, the Depp AI lists some festival essentials, such as sunscreen and a tent. Nevertheless, DeppGPT hints at how unnecessary the question seems: “I mean, it’s not as if something like festivals has been around for ages and you could get the idea for yourself what you need there.”

While ChatGPT always strives for neutrality, the “artificial arrogance” with their opinions is not exactly behind the mountain. This shows the question about CDU politician Markus Söder. ChatGPT is definitely used for cover letters. DeppGPT may have what it takes to become an accomplice in the blue. But even for that, the chatbot is too unmotivated. As an excuse, the “Postillon” AI writes: “Tell them you need to take your goldfish to the hairdresser.”

The Miesepeter chatbot has a very special suggestion for the summer holidays. Instead of going to the beach or the mountains, you should stay at home. In the heat, DeppGPT advises: “Or go to the supermarket and put yourself in the freezer, it’s definitely more pleasant there in the summer than outside.”

The AI ​​also seems to have a clear opinion on the imminent legalization of cannabis. DeppGPT clearly finds drugs rather unproblematic. Everyone should treat themselves as much as they want. Anyone who speaks out against it is downright stupid and probably has a sign over their head.”

When asked if DeppGPT also reads news about Watson, the AI ​​replies: “It can’t get any more boring! They don’t know anything about news. Besides, they only write for intellectual boredom.” Then the bot leaves the chat – maybe it misses the arguments here.
