Translated into German, Fuori Concorso means “open museum”, which means open-air museum. So on the plots of Villa Grumello and Villa Sucota last weekend you can find everything about cars and aerodynamics. The event commemorated the most beautiful and rarest sports cars blown by the wind.

We visit various villa parks and have fun. In addition to vintage and modern road vehicles like the Honda NSX or Bugatti Veyron, we also explore classic and new automotive rarities. For example a Maserati MC12 Corsa or VW XL1.

Fuori Concorso is celebrating the 75th anniversary of Porsche at Villa Olmo. About 40 vehicles from the German sports car manufacturer are on the field, including historic models like the 993 Turbo S or more modern models like the latest GT-3 generation; divided into motorsport, innovation or special requests. Despite the bad weather, many people went to the Fuori Concorso on Saturday. The mood was still exuberant – of course, you do not see such cars every day. And on Sunday the weather got a little better.

As its anniversary 2023 is a very special year for Porsche, the so-called heritage truck is also parked at Villa Olmo. It aims to bring Porsche fans closer to the past of the brand on an area of ​​100 square meters. The truck will soon arrive in Switzerland as well: for example at the largest Porsche meeting in Switzerland on 17 June at Mollis GL. While visiting Villa Olmo with the Porsche exhibition was free, visitors had to pay a total of 150 euros to enter the other two villas. No bargains, but car fans still came in droves.
