Peter Grünenfelder (55) will become the new President of Auto-Switzerland. The Board of the Swiss Automobile Importers Association approved a relevant selection proposal. At the general meeting of the association to be held in Lucerne on May 15, Grünenfelder will be elected according to the plan.

The successor to Albert Rösti (55), who was forced to resign from his post after being elected to the Federal Council last December, will be the current director of the think tank Avenir Suisse. The Swiss Auto Association is the official automobile importers association. The 35 member companies sell cars of 56 brands through around 4,000 services in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
