Digicel is launching a mobile phone and tablet recycling project

Digicel Panama, To leave his green mark, he will start Digicel recyclesproject R.Social Responsibility consisting of cell phone recycling, whose collected funds will be used to support the programs Creative Space Foundationwhich takes care of children and young people in vulnerable situations.

A product of technological evolution and changing devices, many cell phones are discarded, creating a large amount of electronic waste that pollutes the environment. Digicel recycles seeks to collect cell phones and tablets to receive treatment for their disassembly and reuse.

The collection will be made in five stores Digicel: Multiplaza, Albrook, Metromall, Westland and David, Chiriquí. Customers will receive 50 points for each device in the loyalty rewards, which can be exchanged for any of the benefits we offer. The project includes the promotion of electronic charging, and an educational campaign aimed at encouraging energy saving.

The Creative Space Foundation seeks to change the lives of young people between the ages of 8 and 17 Santa Ana, San Felipe, El Chorrillo and Calidoniathrough practicing contemporary dance, strengthening their academic development and psychosocial and family support, developing skills that enable them to improve their quality of life, grow as agents of change and responsible citizens.
