RT’s forecasts on the main trends in the technology sector for 2023 point out that this year there will be a great demand for a number of jobs, by companies from different sectors, regardless of the geographical location of the mentioned companies, due to the large implementation of remote work.

The forecasts of RT’s report on the most sought-after IT profiles (information and communication technologies) are applicable, “with certain nuances”, both to Spain and to the countries of the Americas,” Jorge González, national director of Randstad Technology, in Spain, explained to EFE.

“The profiles and technologies are converging, they agree. However, in North America the talent shortage is greater, while in LATAM there are many ‘offshoring’ services,” says González, referring to the process by which the company transfers part of its production and business activities to another country through subcontracting.

In this context, the RT spokesperson gives as an example of ‘offshoring’ the case of clients in the Iberian Peninsula or in the United States, who hire local companies (that is, from LATAM), as a solution to problems with costs and “shortages”. talent” (lack of experts with the necessary skills and abilities).

“Looking ahead to 2023, companies must improve their financial efficiency in the face of challenges such as price crises, volatility, rising financing costs or economic slowdowns, challenges that focus on productivity,” according to González.

He adds that “this means that transformation and digitization will continue to be at the center of business strategies, so competition for talent will continue to be key”, increasing, according to RT, the demand for the following technological job profiles:
