“7 vs. Wild” winner launches his own survival show – that’s what we know about “Arctic Warrior”

After “7 vs. Wild” went through the roof and season two also took YouTube by storm, many fans have been craving a sequel. Due to various circumstances, inventor Fritz Meinecke in particular has already indicated that there will be no more seasons in this form.

Now winner Otto surprised Bulletproof with a big announcement and his own survival show.

Otto starts his own show after «7 vs. Wild”

Many fans of “7 vs. Wild” will not have believed their eyes on Saturday when Otto presented his new project called “Arctic Warrior 2023” in the middle of a Finnish snowy landscape. Although the winner had spoken about the project several months ago, it did not attract much attention.

The trailer (YouTube):

The format is also a survival show, but besides some parallels there are also significant differences with “7 vs. Wild”.

So in “Arctic Warrior” no one is alone. In teams of two, consisting of a professional and an amateur, a route is covered through the icy landscape of Lapland. The team that finishes first and gains the most points in the challenges wins. In general, the goal is to “survive in the Arctic wilderness for 100 hours, so five days”.

According to Otto, the experienced former comrades he knows are from the Bundeswehr, including mountain infantry and other special forces. However, the participants should not be blindly and ominously left out, but should be trained in teams of two by a specialist for the project.

According to Otto, without such training it would be impossible even for experienced people:

“The whole concept is made in such a way that it wouldn’t be made for beginners. Anyone who does not know this climate zone is actually doomed to die here.”

In addition, all teams should receive the same military-tested equipment, which was not the case with the second season of “7 vs. Wild” and was heavily criticized. The equipment of the “Arctic Warrior” includes skis, sleds and energy-rich food.

Otto nominates Montana Black

At the end of his announcement video, the former paratrooper left it open who would participate in the format in the first place. Instead, he asked the audience who dared to be part of the “Arctic Warrior 2023”.

Soon after, he posted a video to his channel asking streamer MontanaBlack if he wanted to be there. Otto now proceeded in the same way as Fritz Meinecke in “7 vs. Wild” and publicly nominated MontanaBlack. He emphasized that he is an experienced person and would like to form a team with him.

As the reason for the nomination, Otto faded into scenes where the streamer said you have nothing to fear when you’re out in the wilderness with Otto.

In the comments, the fans seemed very excited. Many motivated MontaganaBlack, who has not yet responded to the nomination, to participate. Also noticed was a pinned comment from Otto himself, announcing that he had another surprise for the YouTube audience on Monday. Many suspect that there is a wild card behind it, as in “7 vs. Wild”.
