9 dream cars for every taste

It must be fast and strong. Or can it be big and comfortable? Or is it completely different from everyone else? We all have different ideas about what our dream car should look like. At Auto Zürich, which runs until Sunday, November 13, visitors don’t have to decide on their dream car – all car enthusiasts will definitely get their money’s worth with this selection:

1. Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally

Let’s start the quest for imagination on four wheels small – in the truest sense: Abarth has the special 695 Tributo 131 Rally in its trunk and pays homage to the rally icon Abarth 131 Rally, which completed its last race forty years ago. The exclusive 180hp 695 shines in two-tone Rally Blue with a black roof and is fitted as standard with the “Record Monza Sovrapposto” sports exhaust system and an adjustable rear spoiler. Limited to 695 pieces, the sports ball costs at least 46,190 francs.

2. Aston Martin Valkyrie

This car is no ordinary: design from Red Bull chief designer Adrian Newey (63), two St. Gallen (more on this: thriller about the “Swiss” Aston Martin). The Aston Martin Valkyrie is an absolute dream on four wheels, and while it’s officially street legal, it looks like a Le Mans race car that takes a wrong turn. For CHF 3.5 million, the famous customer – limited to number 175 – gets a hyper sports car trimmed for aerodynamics, which delivers insane 1176 hp from the V12 and electric motor. Up to 400 km/h should be possible!

3. Bentley Bentayga EWB

Passengers in Bentley’s luxury SUV, the Bentayga, could not complain about too little space before. But in the new EWB (Extended Wheelbase), which can now be admired in the Zurich exhibition halls, the thick ship has grown by another 18 centimeters to an outer length of 5.30 metres, and is now taking on the role of chauffeur. British vehicle fleet. Available from CHF 215,000, the Bentayga EWB is powered by a 550 hp V8 engine.

4. Ferrari 296 GTB

Ferrari dealer Kessel has brought the new 296 GTB hybrid sports car to Zurich. The “small V12” delivers the drive: that’s what Ferrari calls the 2.9-liter V6 (hence the model name). The 296 is in no way inferior to its V12 siblings when it comes to driving performance: 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 7.3 to 200 km/h – crazy! Top speed is only reached above 330 km/h. The Ferrari 296 GTB is on the price list starting at 308,600 francs (Click here for the driving report: Small hybrid Ferrari very fast).

5. Koenigsegg Gemera

Royal look for hypercar brand Koenigsegg: In addition to the anniversary model CC850, the Swedes brought the first four-seater called the Gemera to showrooms. Its drive, consisting of three electric motors and three cylinders mounted as a central engine, is also special. This petrol engine alone delivers 600 hp and 600 Nm from a displacement of two liters. In addition, there is an electric motor per rear wheel with 500 hp and 1000 Nm each. The third electric motor on the crankshaft provides 400 hp and 500 Nm. It delivers insane 1700 hp and 3500 Nm system performance! Costing millions, the hyper-athlete accelerates to 100 km/h in less than two seconds! An absolute trade fair highlight that Auto Zurich President Karl Bieri and new Managing Director Ines Nageli don’t want to miss (see photo).

6. Mercedes AMG SL

We have to look twice: for a long time no Mercedes SL looked as sharp and stylish as a new one! The magnificent 4.0 V8 biturbo petrol engine runs under the mega hood with an intoxicating 585 hp. The roadster, which now uses fabric instead of a folding roof, accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, but if you want to call your dream sled your own, you must have at least 234,900 francs at the highest limit.

7.Morgan Super 3

British automaker Morgan is 113 years old. He became known for his use of ash for tricycles and frames. The British have been stepping on the gas for three years, and they’re putting out new editions almost every year. This year the Super 3 is presented as the successor to the three-wheeler that has been in production for eleven years – now it can be seen at Auto Zurich. The 3.58-metre-long open two-seater weighs just 635 kilograms. With 118 hp and manual transmission, you can reach 100 km/h in seven seconds. Prices start from CHF 54,500.

8. Pagani Huayra Roadster

Seeing the super sports car of Italian dream manufacturer Pagani in nature? Unless you live in upscale residential areas like Monaco, this is nearly impossible. At Auto Zurich, visitors now have the opportunity to take a closer look at the hyper sports car Huayra Roadster, which costs millions. The curb weight of the 764-horsepower V12 engine is just under 1.3 tons, so the dream car, driven via the rear wheels, accelerates to 100 km/h in three seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 350 km. /h.

9. Sportec project Ferdinand

Swiss tuning specialist Sportec from Höri ZH presents the “Ferdinand” project in Hall 7. This is Sportec’s own classic series, where it basically uses the classic Porsche 964 (1989-1994) and turns them into special one-off items at the customer’s request. The entire vehicle has been completely rebuilt, from the body to the interior, to the high-revving boxer engine. The result: the Ferdinand is a classic car with a new car feel. The first finished neo-classical celebrates its world premiere at Auto Zurich.
