Following the impressive revision, the turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine at the rear produces a whopping 900 hp (662 kW) and an extremely high maximum torque of 1000 Nm.

The livery still shows a Porsche 911, but it’s somehow different; darker, more brutal, more corrupt. In this context – however convenient – comparisons with Darth Vader and Batman are very often made when it comes to powerful Brabus bullets, which we want to record here. In any case, for the huge additional cost, it not only gets a rustic leather interior and a performance boost, but also a largely newly created body and the Brabus logo replacing the Porsche lettering on the hood and steering wheel.

The look of this crazy carbon suit doesn’t fit as perfectly as that of the Brabus 900 R Rocket, of which only 25 units will be produced according to current plans. However, later successor editions with similar performance are by no means ruled out. As with all Brabus customizations, there are almost no limits to special requests for the interior. The solid honeycomb quilting on the Edition Masterpiece’s interior differs from that found in most sports cars and is more reminiscent of a dedicated off-road vehicle, especially in the panels and seats. The grip of the steering wheel and seat bolsters is impressive and probably improves the quality of life with long-term use and the corresponding patina.

Priced at the equivalent of around 550,000 francs, what the Brabus 900 Rocket R offers, in addition to its spectacular performance, extraordinary interior design and provocative bodywork, is the high level of everyday usability you recognize from a Porsche 911 – no matter what.
