Green forests, white mountain peaks, dark blue lakes: there is no doubt that Switzerland is a paradise for camping enthusiasts. But there are also countless idyllic places in Europe where nature lovers get their money’s worth. Some of the systems particularly stand out from the competition. 1st wooden barrel in Bavaria

The resort town of Allweglehen in Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, promises luxury camping. The site offers stunning views of the national park and the Watzmann massif, and in addition to the 196 sites, it also offers wooden huts, chalets and wooden barrels as overnight stays.
