This week, the entire world – or at least 17 million people – was blown away by the AI version of Heidi. It was created by Swiss comedian Patrick Karpiczenko.
To create our own masterpiece, I used Runway’s Gen-2 online software.
For each segment, I uploaded a reference image from the Watson universe and wrote a matching text prompt. I was then shown four sample photos from which to choose.
I chose the one that came closest to what I had in mind. The AI then created a 4 second video for me. I downloaded these clips separately and added music myself.
At the end of the video you can see every reference image and the written instruction I gave the AI. Originally I wrote all the directions in English, they are translated in the video.
You will notice that the system cannot process text at all. I tried several times to make a «watson» character in the background. The result looked like this:
Admittedly, this was all created with the free version. There are already AI tools that can produce better results. But the technology is still in its infancy.
What do you think? Did you recognize the Watson formats?
