Fans had to wait a long time, but now it fits perfectly: Switzerland will take its place in 2016, after a long corona, in 2023, when the legendary Porsche 911 celebrates its 60th birthday and the 75th anniversary of the Porsche sports car brand. the break and the first two festivals, and in 2018, finally, an official Porsche meeting was held again. Not surprisingly, the motto of this year’s festival is “Celebrating Dreams”.

It starts tomorrow at the airport in Mollis GL at 9:11 am on Saturday. Then, the idyllic flight area in the Glarner Alps transforms into a multifaceted world of experience for Porsche and sports car enthusiasts all day long until 8 pm. Whether you’re a Porsche driver, brand fan, classic car lover or racing fan – everyone will get their money’s worth this Saturday at one of the seven different festival areas on the site.

Exhibition with more than 1000 Porsches

One of the highlights of the festival is definitely the Porsche exhibition on the airport runway called the Gallery of Dreams. More than 1,000 vehicles from 75-year-old Porsche sports cars, from the original 356 model to the classic 911 to the all-electric Taycan, will gather here throughout the day and be awe-inspiring.

Classic fans will get their money’s worth in the Soul Garage area. Everything revolves around the classic car industry there. In addition to spares and attachments, Porsche enthusiasts will find a variety of perfectly restored vehicles from the Swiss Porsche Classic partners. Besides the pit and driving lane areas, Dreamers Gate is more action packed. There it is possible to take a taxi ride with Porsche sports models, and there is also a special exhibition of all Porsche racing cars, from the Dakar to the Le Mans car. Even the recently unveiled Porsche Mission X will be on display. And of course you’ll meet one or the other Porsche celebrity, such as Swiss racing expert Neel Jani (39) or rally legend Walter Röhrl (76).

An activity for the whole family

For the whole family to get their money’s worth at the third Porsche convention in Mollis, there are not only multiple food trucks for catering, but also a separate festival area for children. There, at the Porsche Kids Driving School, future Porsche pilots can learn how to behave in traffic in a fun way at the driving school – befitting their status with a Porsche bobby car. Also, a Carrera slot racetrack awaits for exciting family duels.

Festival fan pack and group reservations are already sold out. But tomorrow you can visit the Porsche Festival without a ticket. Free visitor parking is also available on site.
