“Putin announces another special military operation to protect Russian-speaking Russians from Russians invading Russia from Russia”

Which brings us to this week’s most devastating war crime

The National Council currently does not want to launch a support program for Ukraine worth five billion Swiss francs. A majority on Thursday rejected a motion from the foreign policy committee for an aid package for five to 10 years. The money is to be used for humanitarian aid, civilian protection, demining and peacebuilding.

The motion is off the table, but the subject remains on the table: Mathias Zopfi (Groen/GL) also submitted a motion for an aid package of 5 billion to the Council of States. Members of the five parties represented in the Council of States also signed. The small chamber is expected to discuss aid to Ukraine on Monday.

Switzerland has so far helped Ukraine with 280 million francs – and another 300 million francs will be added by the end of 2024, Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis (FDP) said. A total of about 1.5 billion Swiss francs has been pledged so far. (Source: SDA)

“I recently got some money to take my wife out to dinner for my 40th birthday. But due to today’s events, we decided to donate the money to the Ukrainian government’s ‘Reconstruction of Ukraine’ campaign.”

Whether in Germany or among the Swiss who understand Putin: they dwell on peace – and mean capitulation

“This is an exciting week for me.

Apple holds its annual developer conference. I work in the Apple universe. I spend half my time watching an amazing group of people in their happy bubble of isolation talking about how we will move forward with wonderful new technology.

The other half of my time I spend thinking about the people of Ukraine and watching the immeasurable pain and suffering caused by Russian imperialist barbarian terrorists with their man-made disaster of blowing up the Nova Kakhovka dam, next to all the pain they’ve already caused over the past 9 years and centuries.

They are so incredibly opposite that I wonder if these two even live in the same world?

Yes. Yes, they are. Man is capable of both.

We can use technology to cause untold suffering to each other.

But we can also use technology to improve people’s living conditions through friendliness, progress and innovation.

Each of us chooses what we want to be. 8 billion decisions are made every morning, over and over, every day.

In a world full of Russians, be Ukraine.”

Here’s how we like Twitter: Kim Dotcom raves and hits the roof with a perfect counterattack

“You forgot to mention that the dam is on the site of a biolaboratory that produces weaponized bats that only attack humans with Russian DNA.”
