Galician top athletes can now apply for this year’s aid and those for preparations for Paris 2024.

The official newspaper of Galicia has already published the announcement of the call for help to the top Galician athletes, Ajudas DGAN 2023 Xunte. For this edition, a unique call model has been chosen to help in the representation and participation of athletes seeking qualifications for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. This year’s call will be for 500,000 euros, and applications can be made until next Wednesday, June 14 .

On the one hand, Đúdas Galicia-Paris 2024 will take into account participation and results in previous editions of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, along with federal accreditation to be part of the Olympic preparatory programs for Paris or to be able to participate in the qualification tests for these. Results achieved at international championships held after the Games in Tokyo are also counted. Olympic and Paralympic aid will have two amounts of 6,000 euros (Axuda Galicia-París 1) and 4,000 euros (Axuda Galicia-París 2).

Finally, Þudas DGAN 2023 will evaluate only the period between January 1 and December 31 of the previous year. In addition, there will be as many as seven categories: Ayuda DGAN 1 (up to 8,000 euros), Ayuda DGAN 2 (up to 6,000 euros), Ayuda DGAN 3 (up to 4,000 euros), Ayuda DGAN 4 (up to 2,000 euros), Ayuda DGAN 5 (up to 1,000 euros), Aid DGAN 6 (up to 1,000 euros) and Aid DGAN Athlete Support/Guide, which will be in the same amount for another year.
