“Several hundred kilos”: Promes from Moscow accused of cocaine smuggling

In Free Fall: Quincy Promes.

Quincy Promes (31) falls deeper and deeper. In March, the Spartak Moscow player was charged with aggravated assault. And now there is another allegation: the ex-Ajax junior is accused of drug smuggling by the Dutch OM.

With another 31-year-old Dutchman, the football professional is said to have imported “several hundred kilos of cocaine” via the port of Antwerp (Be) in January 2020. As with the assault, he will not appear in court because he has contractual obligations to his club, according to the Dutch news agency ANP.

It is the second attack in a short time for the former Sevilla player. Prosecutors accuse him of stabbing a cousin in the knee in July 2020. Two years in prison have been demanded for the fallen Dutchman. (nsa)
