The Olympic flame will be carried from Athens (here the kindling for Beijing 2022) to Paris.

Ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics, France is planning a torch relay with around 10,000 participants from Marseille to Paris, which will see groups of up to 24 people take part in the relay for the first time. These could be sports clubs, for example. The organizers will announce that.

The Olympic flame will be taken from Athens to Marseille on the three-master “Bélem” and then transported across the country. The arrival in Paris on July 26 is intended to kick off the opening ceremony. This is planned on the Seine and along its banks. (SDA)
