Only FC Bayern Munich can do that. No one is actually talking about the championship title, the eleventh in a row. The big problem is the official eviction of Oliver Kahn (53) and Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic (46) about an hour after winning the cup.
“It was the worst day of my life,” reveals Kahn, who has been ex-chairman of the German FCB since Saturday evening, in the TV program Sky90.
What touches the “Titan” deeply: he is not allowed to celebrate with his players. Neither on Saturday in Cologne nor on Sunday at Marienplatz in Munich. “I was forbidden by the club to travel to the match in Cologne and attend the championship celebration,” Kahn told the “Bild”. Before the afternoon game, the club announced that the 53-year-old would be absent from Cologne with flu.

According to the “Abendzeitung”, Kahn and sports director Salihamidzic found out about their expulsion on Thursday. According to the report, Kahn was “deeply disappointed” in his firing, Salihamidzic could handle it better. What this supports: FC Bayern’s official press release does not include a statement from Kahn, who will be replaced by Jan-Christian Dreesen (55), the deputy chairman of the board. He announced in the autumn that he wanted to leave Bayern at the end of 2022/23.
Salihamidzic, whose successor is unclear, has had his say. The situation is also special for trainer Thomas Tuchel (49). He was led to the Isar by Kahn and Salihamidzic when Bayern surprisingly released Julian Nagelsmann (35) in March. Even this expulsion did not happen without background noise. “I’ve known since yesterday,” Tuchel told Sky on Saturday night. “I have to process that first.
