After the violent riots between FC St. Gallen and FC Luzern last Saturday, the government of St. Gallen is now demanding seats and personalized tickets.
According to a statement from the State Chancellery, the Super League game between FC Luzern and FC St. Gallen was interrupted on Tuesday due to pyros and riots before and after the game around the stadium.
The government now wants to “obtain stricter countermeasures in Switzerland”. This includes the obligation to provide personalized tickets to visitors to Super League football matches and National League ice hockey matches.
The government is also requiring that the stadiums of the Super League and National League have only seats. The government intends to submit these two applications to the Conference of Cantonal Directors of Justice and Police (KKJPD). (SDA)
