Former Swiss youth international Charles Pickel is relegated from Serie A with Cremonese. The Lombards, who were promoted last summer, are the second of three relegated teams after Sampdoria Genoa. The duel between Lecce (16th) and Spezia (17th) ended in 0-0. The third relegation will be determined between these two teams and Hellas Verona.
