Forget the 55 points of 2022

Once (Baku), the big four took the first eight places. Three times it was “only” the first seven positions. Only in the chaos in Melbourne was the way clear for the little ones because only the first five rows were occupied.

Hoping for an exploit

You don’t have to be a prophet to predict a tough season for the teams at the bottom. That sounds brutal with the hundreds of millions being spent and is unfortunately not much of a motivator for the hard work in many factories.

But if you look reality in the eye, you often have to laugh at the laundering of those responsible and drivers.

One-hit wonders don’t fill you

The hope, front and rear, are each the upgrades being dragged to the track. Miracles are not to be expected in most places. But an exploit (such as Bottas’ 10th starting place) must also be used.

Because no one is full of mayflies. Not even in Formula 1.
