The Florida Panthers continue their run in the NHL playoffs. They also won the second game of the quarterfinal series against the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2.
It is a fifth straight win for the Panthers, who knocked out the top favorite to win the Stanley Cup, the Boston Bruins, in the first round.
The game started very badly for the Florida team, who were already 2-0 behind after just under five minutes. With two goals within 47 seconds, the guests managed to turn the game from 1:2 to 3:2 at the start of the middle period. In the next two games, the Panthers enjoy home field advantage.
The Seattle Kraken, the other surprise team of these playoffs, meanwhile suffer a 1-1 draw against the Dallas Stars in the quarterfinals. The winning goal in the 4:2 comes from Joe Pavelski, who already scored four times in the opening game. (SDA)
