“The rehabilitation is going very well, we are satisfied,” the German can quote on Bayern’s website. “The goalkeeper-specific exercises we do indoors work very well. I can cycle again without any problems and can also do most strength exercises.” In December, Neuer fell while skiing. He broke his right lower leg.
Blick expert Markus Babbel (50) recently said: “From what I have heard, Neuer will come back strong. If there are no more setbacks, he will be number 1 again. Then Yann must ask himself how to proceed.” Bayern officials escorted Yann Sommer (34) from Gladbach to Säbener Strasse in the winter. His performance has sparked many highly emotional discussions. But: He and his new teammates have been back in first place in the Bundesliga since last Sunday.
