Stefan Bissegger has become a dad.

Stefan Bissegger (24) and his wife Céline have become parents. “Our little Oliver Bissegger saw the world yesterday at 5:56pm. He and his mother are doing well,” Bissegger says happily to Blick. It is the cyclist’s first child.

“It feels very surreal. I’m still not getting it right. But we’re both very happy and looking forward to the future,” says Bissegger.

More dad time thanks to broken hand

Bissegger has been out for a few weeks with a broken hand. It will take about three weeks for his comeback. But the 24-year-old can now spend a lot of time with his wife and little Oliver.

It is the second happy baby in Swiss cycling within ten months. At the end of June 2022, Stefan Küng (29) became a father for the first time. With his Céline he gave birth to his son Noé. (mab/like)
