Capela with Atlanta for the clean sheet

Clint Capela is trailing Atlanta in the NBA playoffs. The Hawks lose their second home game of the Round of 16 series to the Boston Celtics 121-129 and are trailing 1-3.

In the first quarter, the hosts fell behind 11:21 after leading 11:9 and then never got closer than three points (87:90). Capela has to settle for ten points and seven rebounds. Atlanta loses despite Trae Young’s 35 points and 15 assists. The fifth game will take place in Boston on Wednesday-evening. Atlanta is then forbidden to lose.

Curry causes dropouts

Defending champion Golden State Warriors tied 2-2 against the Sacramento Kings thanks to a 126-125 home win. While De’Aaron Fox throws 38 points for the guests, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry scores 32.

Shortly before the end, Curry creates another tension with a dropout. With about 42 seconds left on the clock, the Warriors lead 126:121, when the superstar is overtaken by two opponents in his own half of the field.

Unable to dribble or pass to a teammate, Curry decides to call after a timeout. A good plan in itself – if his team had timed out.

“Oh no! We don’t have any more!” Coach Steve Kerr throws his hands over his head. The consequence? The kings receive the ball, make a four-point attack and come within a point. It’s not enough for more, Curry should have taken a deep breath.

After the game, Kerr takes the blame for not informing the team. But Curry doesn’t give up and admits: “It wasn’t exactly the smartest move.” (sda/bir)
