Sion boss Christian Constantin (66) and his son Barthélémy (28) mourn the loss of father and grandfather Martial Constantin. According to a statement, he passed away on Saturday.
In that context, FC Sion posted a condolence message on the club’s website on Saturday morning. “Our thoughts are with Christian and Barthélémy Constantin this morning. Our president and our sporting director today lost Martial Constantin, the father and grandfather of both of our executives.”
CC maintained a good relationship with his now deceased father. However, in an interview with the 2020 “Walliser Bote”, Martial Constantin admitted that he used to take too little time for his son. «I was on duty for the company from four in the morning until midnight.
